Well, people seem to think that they aren't even worth $8.78 p/hr. To me that isn't funny. Especially when people try to survive any way they can.
Sure, it's easy to fob that off and say: get a real job, go out and get a job that pays double that, with society's ever-present pigeon-holing and the fear and often very real continuous knock-backs from applying for those double-the-money jobs.
Depression sets in, the fear of failure, self-doubt, etc etc.
I'm not directing that at you em2nought, just really irks me when ignorant comments like that are made in relation to get a hair cut, get a job.
