As wargamer stated, the best way to practice your stations is for you to create a simple mission with one ship or sub with course changes at particular intervals. Here's an example, place something on your port/starboard side, then have them come across your bow. If you mess up the TMA...you'll hear the collision alarm. :rotfl:
Edit: Also, experiment with different ships. Since you won't get a sonar signature on a sailboat, use it on one side and a trawler on the other.
