I'll tell my father the next time I see him he likes getting compliments from other elite troopers.Though he is pretty humble about it really when he talks with other vets he likes to hear their stories more than talk about his.


I think he had a lot of frustration with the Army brass because he felt that they did not always use LRRP as much as they could have or they misused them.

@Simmy It is one man he was an Army combat photographer the photos where taken from March 1968 and May 1969 it mentions Chu Chi that was always a busy region the enemy had a huge tunnel network their the photo shows a tunnel rat.It also mentions Dau Tieng there was some serious fighting there in 1968.Chu Chi is not far from Saigon and the 25th Id saw a lot of action there during the Tet Offensive.That was a good time you could say the morale was very high actually at that time because the enemy where fighting on our terms and it was clear that harm was being done.
