Its good to know that others are so concerned with US financial issues... as well as everything else US. Eliciting such inquiry and intrigue speaks volumes.
But anyway... I don't think most people understand the significance, insignificance, or impact of what a deficit does and does not mean. Just an instinctual oogling response.
