I'd have to disagree with those of you stating that airline passengers would gang tackle a terrorist on a flight. The general American public has the courage of an ostrich. They don't want to get hurt or die. Ironically they'd probably only think of the short term (i.e. the knife) versus the long term (the plane crashing) in their self preservation thought process. If anyone did do anything I would see it being the 65 year old Vietnam vet instead of the 21 year old intern.
