The submissive role european politicians are playing in all this - for the most it is a shame, and disgusting.

Toleranc is all nice and well, but my tolerance for this tolerance ends where it is understood as that no qualitative differentiation is allowed anymore. not all things compare to each other, not every thing is as good as another thing. There is a hierarchy of quality that should somehwat put limits to our tolerance. else tolerance turns into anarchy, and all those entities that all are to be tolerated act by the law of the strongest.

Respect is not a right. It has to be earned. no one, even Islam, should demand that we should respect it as an equal, as long as it has not proven that it deserves that respect. In the current example, I do not see that evidence. Quite the opposite.

Tolerance is nice and well, but it needs limits. The church and Western politicians don't reflect that. Not everything was good in European history, but what our culture is today sure as hell is far better than what we are confronted with on the other side.
