When I moved up to an Apple IIgs I replaced the older 8bit version of Silent Hunter with the IIGS 16bit version....thought I had died and went to subsim heaven
Also played the hell out of SubBattle Simulator by Activision....I think it was the first subsim that gave you a choice between having a uboat career in the Atlantic or an American sub skipper in the Pacific. It is still amazing what they could get out of 800k.
