Philip is Philip, I think people would be a tad disappointed if he didn't put his foot in his mouth every time he opened it. I think most British people and world leaders know to just ignore what he says.
Still, he does tend to hit the nail on the head from time to time, in a manner very uncharacteristic to nobility. Although I did love Spains Juan Carlos when he told Hugo Chavez to 'just shut up' during one conference.
