For the last month, I have been in search of a realistic looking Kaibokan for my SH4 v1.4 game. When I added TMO 1.7.6 and saw a Kaibokan listed as one of the add-on ships, I found out it was just a re-flagged American Evarts DE, although I have to admit there is enough of a resemblence for it to be better than none at all. I also saw a Kaibokan that was in another mod that left a lot to be desired, however I am the LAST person to criticize anyone else's attempts at creating a Kaibokan, realistic looking or not. At least they tried. Since I am absolutely no good at modding, I decided to provide info and specs for those that are. I have found two good sources of info on actual Kaibokans. I also am adding a Wikipedia page that lists all six types of Kaibokans used by the IJN: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaibokan.
