check that your firewall has enable the game to run. Windows xp sp2 firewall will pop up a window on the first time you load multiplayer asking you if you want to enable SH3 multiplayer. If you dont answer it, it will disable it. Some firewalls dont even ask you so check to see if its allowed if your using another firewall.
