Not playable in SH5. The Type IV is the only one for now. There are modders working on the Type II and IX. Someday we'll have both as they should be.

There are 2 mods that sort of give you a Type IX's fuel, torpedo loadout, speed and distance.... the Sort of. IX BOAT MOD v1a mod.

I recommend using these with the above mod. VIIC41 - Start with in beginning of campaign mod, Better Torpedo Graphics v2 mod, and Steelvikings interor mods.
