There is no doubt that Armstrong doped.
But who can say he didn't, among the contenders for the win ?
Also, there is no question the poor Armstrong is the scapegoat these days.
Without massive doping ? No more breakaway in mountainous terrain. So, speaking about the little part of his career I'm familiar with, the right question regarding Armstrong is : how the hell did this guy, who didn't have the potential to win one and only tour de France at the beginning of his career (unlike some giants like Anquetil, Merckx and Hinault), happen to be able to win it 7 times, exploding all records ?

Here is the great mystery, and real annoyance for the real connoisseurs and bicycle lovers. Winning such a great competition once can be considered a marvellous personal performance. He won this competition 7 consecutive times, for 7 years in a row. In this incredible prodigy, what is the share of the little man, and the one of his country's chemistry ? Personally I hope we'll have an answer to that question, for the sake of knowledge and morality.
