I pulled the trigger and downloaded it from Amazon through the subsim link for the reasons you stated. Got it up and running with RFB and RSRD mods. Added a few boat skins to make them look a bit more worn. When I went through sub school in New London there were still diesel boats stationed there ( showing my age
) Even with a new coat of paint they were showing their age..wanted that look for SHIV.....especially the S class boats.
