Spotted fishing vessel under british flag 265 km south of Reykjavik. Ship captured and sunk with explosives to save ammo, crew in lifeboat.

05/17/1940 0352, AE91
Spotted british coastal freighter at 13000 m, oppening fire. According to maps of 1939, we are out of english air coverage.

05/17/1940 0357, AE91

Coastal freighter sunk, 1869 BRT. Weather clear, wind 10 from 094.

05/18/1940 0151, AF76
Radar contact with allied warship, AF57, heading E with 16 kn. Fuel 50 %, 1394 km to Wilhelmshaven.

05/18/1940 1408, AN23
Radar contact with allied warship, AN28, heading SSE with 20kn.

05/19/1940 1144, AN98
After 1 month at sea arriving at home in Wilhelmshaven! 2 ships spotted and sunk on the way from "Belchen" supplier, AD68, back.
