The "civilized" societies have a long track record of dealing with great genius, wisdom, knowledge, and creativity with decidedly uncivilized treatment. From as far back a Socrates being forced to drink hemlock, history is rife with the tragedies of small minds of no consequence depriving humanity of its greatest minds.
