Wondering if there is a way to get map contacts to show again after their initial showing on the map?

As you remember in SH3, they would initially show and disappear after awhile, but then reappear again after a certain amount of time so you could follow their progress and intercept them. In SH5 they show and are also a radio message from BDU, but once they disappear off the map they never show again. If you miss an intercept you've lost them for good. Could a mod be made for this or is it hardcoded and not possible? Or is it something to do with OHII and/or CSP Magui?
