I suffered through an entire career with no deck gun. Yes you use more fish but it is totally doable. I would dump out all the mods in jsgme reboot the computer. Add only the TMO mod ... reboot the computer, start a career, start a mission, leave game. Add the RSRD mod then reboot the computer. Start a FRESH career and see what happens.
