I knew he was still around.

I attended a master class taught by Dave Brubeck back when I was an undergrad in 1997. As gifted as he was in the capacity of a performer, his real skill was as an arranger and composer.

Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, Mr. Brubeck. The world is a less colorful place in your absence.
