This issue is interesting to me, as I just finished a class on global warming. Dr. Hansen is a well known global warming advocate and is a lightning rod for critics, having presented some of the most dire predictions of global warming's consequences. He certainly seems to be a highly credentialed scientist, and any political administration that attempts to quash scientific study or the publicizing of its results is promoting censorship in a very un-american way (which this president and his minions seem to be no stranger to
). We can't ever create an effective solution to global warming without having all parties, pro and con contribute openly. After all, isn't it everybody's world?
