Not here. But looking at the Assus site I see the one they have listed for the G55 is only an i7 2.3 GHz CPU. Not ure what yours is tho. Post specs on you laptop if you would.

I'd think that 2.3 could be a bit slow for running SH5 heavily modded. Even with my i5 2.8GHz desktop I'm running on the fringe. My SH5 is kind of heavily modded but SH5 seems to run pretty good set up as I have it. Try overclocking your CPU to 3 GHz if you can. That might help more.

As for RAM I've been told that it makes no difference. 4 or 8 or 16 will all work the same. Now that was from a 'Techie' at CompUSA so that's be his opinion.... not mine.

As for me I've no idea. All I can say is get good brand name matched DDR3 RAM modules.
