Why true Southerners (with ancestors who fought Lincoln's aggression) celebrate this holiday is beyond me. Where I grew up his name was still a 7 letter cuss word.

Still mad because you lost your slaves? My ancestors fought for the Confederates and some where on the Union side so should I only eat half of a turkey?
In my humble opinion many "modern day Confederates" are blow hards and often their ancestors did not even fight for the South.Some of my Confederate ancestors joined Civil War veterans groups and socialized with former Union troops.
