Thanks I'm gonna need it. I'd rather go to the dentist than do this.
LOL Just about ready to pull the plug but I have to find the disc for my Asus P7P55D-E LX motherboard. Without it I'm scrod as I need the dirivers and software on it to install. I saw it the other day but I think my grandson ran off with it or hid it on me. He loves to play with my computer DVDs and CDs. He thinks they're great to use as frizzbees and sneeks off with them when I'm not around.
I thought there was a repair on the OEM XP Pro disc. I've heard of guys doing just that without having to buy it again. I have Home but there's still a way to semi repair an install gone bad. Unfortunately mine is beyond that. One of the techies at CompUSA said I have some seriously bad malware that's stopping any kind of repair. A full reinstall is the only way to correct things gone bad.
