They are not built to be compatible... The problem is that FOTRS has its own campaign system, so does RSRD... so to mesh the two together you would either have to HEAVILY re-write one to accept the other or simply start from scratch trying to use what you like.... in my opinion the outcome is not worth the effort and most likely you would end up with something that didn't resemble either... you know what I mean?
What is it you are trying to do specifically? I assume you want the RSRD campaign but maybe the GUI or AI ships from FOTRS??
