I believe Scapa Flow will be one also to sink a Balttleship.
I went thru the same thing looking for the Arc Royal. Tried reverse course of the lone Swordfish figuring it came from a carrier but no luck. Sat in one spot in the sw area hoping BDU would send a contact report but no luck there. Finally I clicked on Plymouth harbor and there she was in-port. Went in sank her and a bunch of escorts, and left. Did this 3 times and no credit for the mission. Lesson leaned... this is a bugger of a mission.
You have to be one lucky sub to find her out in the carrier patrol area.
I finally gave up and installed OHII and started a new campaign... Happy Times.
Now I am happy.
