Strict rule: always create a save game before returning to base!
When encountering the "Invalid argument to date encode" problem just load the last save game before docking, hit
Escape, click on
Exit Patrol and
Dock at <port>. Finally, escape SH3 as usual and try to open your
Personnel File in Cmdr again. If it still doesn't work (it'll 99% surely), I will drink up the Atlantic.
