Yep, smacked the number pad's enter key grabbing at the falling pencil. For a moment, when the event window appeared showing the tube opening, I thought I was being attacked be another sub which was confusing to say the least.

Realized I forgot to include that upon return to port there was a U-boat Front Clasp (despite not existing till '44) waiting for me and 16 U-boat War Badges for the crew. Not sure how the game determines those, when to and how many to give, but it was cool none the less. (1 UWB was all the game gave after the first patrol.)
As Uboat.net says the UWB was usually given out after two patrols I used SH3Cmdr to give the remaining nine men the Badge also since they
were there too. Not the two first patrolers though.
Also just occurred to me that we encountered a plane or planes three times, and were dive bombed five times for a total of eight bombs dropped...maybe those badges were earned.
