If only it meant what you wanted it to.
Think.
The Saudis hate Islamic terrorists when they attack Saudi Arabia. Yet the Saudis export their Wahabbi Islamic terror around the world.
Think.
For a Muslim to attack a Muslim, that's forbidden. What about Muslims attacking infidels?
Think.

You are assuming that the Iraqi insurgents are devote Muslims. That is the chink in the armor.

You are assuming otherwise? State your case but I won't be replying again until tomorrow.

Sunni Arabs, dominated by Ba’athist and Former Regime Elements (FRE), comprise the core of the insurgency. Ba’athist/FRE and Sunni Arab networks are likely collaborating, providing funds and guidance across family, tribal, religious and peer group lines.

The Iraqi insurgency is "only" commanded by the religious crazies. The people that fight for them are average joes who don't have a job and need to feed their family. The insurgency pays American dollars I hear. This is from a foreign policy professional who's been to Iraq several times.

THat is not what that says to me. Not sure how you draw that conclusion. To me that says that it is commanded by the former Ba'athist party with funds coming from many different locations. THe religious side could be Al-Qaeda itself. Maybe the AL-Qaeda element has dried up with this fight between them so maybe the religous funding just got axed!
