It's not odd. Once the Biscay bases were acquired and readied, the majority of the boats were transfered there from the Baltic and the North Sea in an effort to apply additional pressure to the Atlantic sea lanes. The game reflects this reality. Should you survive long enough, you will eventually find yourself being transfered back to Wilhelmshaven or Kiel as the Allies invade France. |
I even got transferred to Bergen from Lorient (at least it said so when I loaded the saved patrol). I never was to find out later on since my career was finished by a Sunderland north of Scotland on my way to norway
