Even when considering that this was a bath in the crowd and thus any security's nightmare scenario:

Terrible.

Unacceptable. Horrifying.

A complete failure both in tactical organisation and mental attitude. These amateurs are definitely in the wrong profession and should be fired.

Bodyguards have to always expect the worst. If they don't , then they have an attitude problem. The guy finally promenading towards the "shooter", smiling, was more concerned about politeness and friendliness, then anything else. Such an attitude is always a maximum risk to any security operation, and in case of alarm it easily leads to object person and guard colleagues getting injured and killed.

If guards melt into the environment and do not get recognised immediately, this is good. But it took an eternity before there was the first man - the smiley - reacting at all. Which means there was no close security around: complete operational fail. The field players should be fired. But the coach in command and control and who has planned the operation, should be tarred and feathered.
