I have found the Yamoto north of Truk in a task force and coming out of the Bungo. North of Truk I did not know it was her till she went down as I was using radar only bearings to hit her in a Typhoon and never had a visual. Out of Bungo I have found her many times and I have never been able to sink her with less than six fish. Always best to use the Mark 16 fish on her I have found.
