Update: went by 3 places and looked at gajiiions of phones and carrier plans
Cricket, Radio Shack, and Best Buy.
Cricket has $50 a month unlimited text/talk 1GB data
RS has the same but with "unlimited" non-3G data
BB has so much to choose from, I took home a booklet they give out for comparison.
