1. sorry donīt know, think thereīll be a possibillity to get rid of it in an "unconventional fashion style" like delete the texture for it.
2. this can be fixed by R.E.M._by_Xrundel_TheBeast, so the antenna will not stick out of the water but is rised.

He probably can just remove the mesh for the antena... or replace it with empty one, if he wants to completely remove it.
