Game play is not the same as SH3. It's different in that BDU gives you objectives to complete. And it can be a daunting experience to say the least. With the right mods it will look great and will also keep you on your toes.

The TDC is nowhere the same as in SHII unless you use TheDarkWarith's TDC UIs. If you don't use his then do practice in the single Historical missions before you start your campaign.
