Just getting started with sh5, and working to implement most of the mods from sober's mega list. I do have a few questions for those who are experienced with the game.


I really like the intro movie, and the scripted crew in the tutorial. Will that continue at all in the campaign or is it over and just generic responses from now on. Will an install of open horizons 2 effect this in any way.

I did a digital DL from amazon. Anyone know if it is safe to use TDW's exe patcher on that one.

Passive sonar/hydrophones, did it work on the surface on real u-boats?

Finally I did a surface deck gun attack on a merchant ship. I was not going slowly and never ordered any silent running. Still everyone was whispering. Is that normal? It was very out of place given all the background noise.
