That's probably it. I'm using no fatigue, because I believe that there would be people on the boat who's job it was to ensure the crew is rotating appropriately. I could be wrong, but I like my assumption.
Incidentally... when you say periscope.... Is that that tall pole at the top of my ship? I thought it was a flagpole!
