I cannot understand why people take their dogs if they are going to leave them in a car. Leave them at home where they are safe.

There is another good reason for this. Once I was at a grocery store and was just leaving my car when I noticed an elderly couple, okay, older than me couple. Just as they got to their car a large dog in the next car started barking and scared the crap out of them. The old guy needed some assistance to get his bearings and for a moment I thought he might be having a heart attack. It was quite a scene.

Bottom line. Don't leave your dog in a car.
