Osborne has failed - it's as simple as that.

By his actions he has dragged this country back into recession, just as Gordon Brown predicted by cutting too deeply, too soon.

Cameron will realise very quickly this will impact on his own reputation and Gideon 'Double Dip-Stick' Osborne will become Home Secretary or something and, I reckon, Arkwright-Hague will become Chancellor.
