I also had this problem. Re-installing to the same folder that my SH3 is in outside the programs folder does seem to have fixed it though. It was so annoying, there I was with 48,000 tons of merchant ship and the shokaku carrier to my credit and the AI was doing everything to stop me getting home. When I finally arrived at pearl and tried to dock it then CTD everytime [I always save before trying to exit] dateline mid 1942. I now have another problem. I'm running stock 1.4 with RFB 1.4 enabled [cannot afford U-boat 1.5 addon due to very bad financial situation at present all money has to be spent on food/bills] when I finish a patrol and the award screen comes up and says that I have been awarded such and such, there are the words NO MEDALS on the picture of the medal awarded, and although it says in the log "award" it is not credited and does not appear in the medals box on the desk, anyone know why this happens?
