I agree on 3 but 5 is slowly catching up.
If the SH3 grid map and campaign could be like SH3's is, 5 would be a handsdown winner in my book. Even more so it the Type II and IX Uboats could be added to 5.
But to be honest, SH3 wasn't too dam good out of the box either. Especially with StarForce in it. And just as much modding was done to it to make it what it is now. At least from what I've seen and read, SH3 was much simpler mod than 5 is.
