Speaking of WW2 Sudden strike will surely work on a netbook, but I dont know where it can be obtained.
Id kill for a fast paced WW2 RTS with base building - so obviously one that doesnt focus too much on realism, where air and sea units can be used. (not just tanks and infantry) I remember the blitzkreig mod for C&C Generals and it was great fun, I wish someone would make a proper game like this.
I know things like COH are more in tune with how WW2 actually worked, but I found COH to be a bit dull, I actually prefered Soliders: Heros of WW2 for my squad based RTS thrills.
