i have had this problem myself a few times, the weather is awful for up to a week and you have nothing to do as you cant see a thing. i discovered its suicide in later times when they get radar. they just pop up behind you and start blasting.
i suggest you just dive under and pump up the TC so it passes more quickly. you sometimes get a contact as well if you are lucky
