This happens in all good games. The average citizen has average intelligence, and average need for complex entertainment, so software companies will always prioritize average games. Good games don't get prioritized, too few people are into it. Look at flight simulator X, they quit patching it and it has ctd's like nothing else, and its a good game too.

If you want a game that doesn't crash, look to games designed for average people. Battlefield 3 for example, go there and you will never experience ctd's. Being different from the majority is both good and bad, in gaming it is a bad thing, it's just the way it is. Stupidity is actually a valuable tool in game development, you don't need to create an all that complex game to entertain people (lower production cost), and you got a huge mass to relate to. Look at StarCraft 2, that ****ty, cut paper scissor looking thing, units with weight up to 50,000 tons, it moves like paper, no weight feeling to it, you don't need weight feeling, stupid people dont care about weight. So blizzard can produce the game faster, they don't need to implement sophisticated things into a game designed for stupid people.

Look at this ****.

It's designed for stupid people.

Now this, this is designed for people like you and me.
