Permission to come aboard?
Like most subsim players i've allways been fascinated by submarines, their roll and importance (especially in WW2) and the way they operate.
I've absolutely no experience as a submariner, but viewing the Youtube SH4 series from WhiteOwl i have gotten hooked. So i've bought SH4 (very cheap at a retail store) and i'm getting started now. This site/forum was mentioned with one of the video's and so i've joined this forum. I'll probably only loiter in the beginning as i first need to learn a lot. Many questions which i have now (or will have later on) are probably already answered in some thread or another. No sense in asking questions which have already been asked a zillion times before. Therefor i will commence by reading, reading and even more reading.
By the way, the reason why i got hooked by the video's by WhiteOwl is because of his effort to play it as realistic as possible (with only a little cheating on the side
). I intend to play SH4 in the same way.
