You guys don't sound like there is much hope for me.
It seems to be getting worse now - I just realised that the modded protractor I now have is a wee bit too dark in the middle and it should be easy to change it with an image editor. I also thought that editing the world map might be possible: I could add lines in it so that it would be faster for players to the get the full 4-digit grid number. Also, one of the shirts I now have modded in seems a little weird and could be made better with only slight changes. It might be possible to combine the parts I like in different GUIs in one GUI tailored to my liking.
Modding the game does not even demand an internet connection all the time, if one has the right tools on one's computer. I already have a sound editor, an image editor, S3D editor, Das Boot dvd...
I think this does not look so good.
Btw, I also just downloaded Real Navigation mod. Maybe that will help me getting back to the meat of it - playing.
