By the way, I know how hard it is to get information about South America, just in case you are not properly informed, Brazil also wants to sell Fighter-Bombers to Venezuela and since these planes have alot of parts built inside the USA (along with technology) the Brazilian government was asked not to sell them.

What I found interesting was the the USA interfered with a deal made by Spain, a long term NATO Allie. I'm probably wrong but I don't recall seeing this before.
Your right about my knowledge of SA politics. Interesting about Brazil though. Maybe the planes Mirages are replacing? I think they bought Mirages instead of Grippens. :hmm:
