I am pessimistic on Skyrim, which demands 2.0 GHz Duo as
minimum.
On Shogun, they say 2.0 GHz Duo
minimum, so with many details all down you might be able to run it. But... oh this terrible "but"...
Being hesitent probably saves you money as long as hesitation lasts.
It's a close call, probably.
