The matter is apparently the audio message "we are pinged sir" overrun the message "destroyer in attack run !"
With your mod, with the DDs propellers with increased volume and audible range..... you can hear the "destroyer in attack run !" message normally ?
PD : as a suggestion and comment, attempt to do a manual editing guide for your mods, it is needed to make each mod compatible with previous mods installed, i have the SH3.sdl file tweaked yet, and i will lose my tweaks if i install yours
