That message, tapped in Morse code by the tied-up German engineer on the hull of U-571 to his comrades in the destroyer above during the closing scenes has pretty much summed up my sentiments towards that movie.
"SOMEBODY PLEASE KILL U-571!"
Then we won't have to trash it anymore
