Why not ask around in these forums if someone lives in same town as you do. Maybe that person has a faster connection and is willing to d/l some stuff for you and burn it on cd.
Or ask a friend that has a fast connection to help you out.
If anything else fails I am willing to burn it on cd.dvd and snailmail it to you.
