One thing I learned from years of driving in california, as people go, it's all about me. This "all about me" thing can be broken down into 3 basic rules of what to expect from peoples behavior:
1.) Me first.
2.) Not in front of me.
3.) I'm special.
Every assine thing people can do on the road can be attributed to one of these 3 "rules of behavior".
Unfortunately, the drivers in Utah, aren't any different. Much to my surprise, and disappointment. In fact, they may be worse, because in California the limiting factor on these 3 "rules of behavior" is the threat of being shot at. Freeway shootings are not unheard of in California, and at one point in time, even common. In Utah, no such threat exists, so people are more blatant and rude whilst on the road. Naturally their behavior does a 180 when not behind the wheel. My wife attributes Utah driving to sexual frustration.
